Crazy folk tunes, rocked up sea shanties, fiddles and squeezeboxes, preposterous guitar noise, brass, synth bass and a feast of brutalised international hand percussion! Only one band can provide all of these things, and that band is folk-rock extravaganza, Blackbeard's Tea Party. Playing a variety of tunes, traditional English, Irish and occasionally Belgian, alongside original material and new arrangements of folk songs and sea shanties, all with a big, tasty, dramatic, danceable and totally unique sound.

We're available for gigs and ceilidhs at festivals, folk clubs, weddings, private events, pubs, parties and weird funerals.

The band is also available in a smaller, all acoustic format suitable for folk clubs and smaller events.
